Who we are
Meridian Kenya ([Registered business details]) is the data controller for the personal data collected on this website. Contact: privacy@meridiankenya.com.
What we collect
When you request a report: your name, work email, organisation, and optionally your role, sector and the hubs you are interested in. When you complete the onboarding form: your organisation's details, the contacts you name, and what you tell us about the decision you need to make. We also record the country your request came from. We do not use advertising cookies. A single cookie keeps your report access open after you follow an access link.
Why we use it
To send you the report you asked for, to reply to you, and to prepare and deliver an engagement. We send research updates only if you tick the box asking for them. The legal bases are your consent and the steps needed to enter into a contract with you, under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Who processes it
Our website runs on Cloudflare, which stores form submissions, and email is sent through our email providers. These services may process data outside Kenya under safeguards required by the Act. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Report requests: up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Client records: for the engagement and as long afterwards as the law requires for financial records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to privacy@meridiankenya.com. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
